Many people look at me, I wonder what they see. Do they see a woman, a wife, Or a simple mother of three? A remarkable being, Is what I hope to be. I’m not built like a model, Or as tall as a tree. But I am as rare as a gem As sweet as a honey bee. I am a remarkable woman, My loved ones would agree. It’s the love that I give, The hugs they receive. The food that I cook. And the goals I help them achieve. I am classy, intelligent, Ambitious and sexy. I am charismatic, creative, Selfless, and sometimes cheeky. When people look at me, I already know what they see They see a remarkable woman, a dutiful wife, And a wonderful mother of three.

About Me




Hey there. I'm Maritza Levy, author of Not Quite Zen and Dishes Diverse, mother of 3 crazy kids and wife to a wonderful man.  This is my journey as a stay at home mom.  Many people think that being home everyday is a breeze.  But let me tell you.  It is HARD work.  Juggling 3 kids, a husband and housework is not as easy as it sounds.  But I have never been happier.  

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I was used to the city life.  Now in Florida, where I met my husband and raise our family, things are a little bit different.  Previously, I worked a traditional 9-5pm job.  I was an office manager for 5+ years, and worked behind a desk for 10 years.  So I know what life is like from both ends of the spectrum.

Staying home is a blessing.  No doubt about it.  But it sure can be tough some days.  I want to show people that being a stay at home mom (or dad) does not mean that your life stops.  It does not mean that your brain turns into mush (yes, someone has said that to me).  

This is YOUR time to be your own person. Figure out what is important to you.  What are your dreams?  What are your hobbies?  What makes you YOU?  

Me, I love anything ZEN.  I also graduated from the Palm Beach Academy of Health and Beauty and am now a licensed Massage Therapist.  So anything that has to do with relaxation, or just overall "well-being" interests me. So this is my journey to finding my ZEN in this crazy world.  Hope you enjoy the ride.
